The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug Extended Edition Coming Nov 4

On November 4th the Extended Edition Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 3D of the second Hobbit film will be hitting stores. This new Extended Edition will include 25 more minutes of film footage and up to 9 hours of bonus features. You can look forward to commentary from Peter Jackson and Phillipa Boyens, the continued Appendices covering pre-production and filming of the movie, and a piece on New Zealand as the home of Middle-earth.

    Great extra scene.

    However much I moan about these films (which is quite alot) I do like them really. I just get annoyed when they drift away from the real story.

    Hadn’t realised they were planning to do these extended cuts for Hobbit as well, bonus!
