LOTRO Outfits: Ruffian

I know there are quite a few people out there who roleplay their characters as rogues or ruffians or brigands. I’m definitely not one of them. The closest I’ve come to that is my hunter from Bree who can be a bit rough around the edges but is good at heart. However if you are one of those people who likes to have your characters cast on the darker side this outfit might be for you!

It’s not meant to be a copy or even a “close as I can get” copy to the outfits that brigands and robber NPCs wear in-game. It’s definitely inspired by them though. One of the things that always sticks out in my mind from questing in Bree and fighting Blackwolds is that the captains and higher ranked brigands had big, noticeable shoulder guards, so this outfit emulates that. A lot of the brigands’ clothes are torn or dirty but I didn’t want to use the “Shabby” or “Tattered” cosmetic pieces because they felt too obvious. So I opted for darker armour with brown and grey undertones.

Let me know what you think!
