After playing through all of the last chapter of Volume III, flooded Isengard, and the Entwood in one evening (yes, I even read the quest text), I have to say I’m most looking forward to the mastery and mitigation changes in Update 13. Depending on how far the pendulum swings, this could make the game VERY challenging again, especially on low level characters.

And since I like playing an underdog, I may even take some upscaled freeps to the ‘Moors! (It’s free for VIP subscribers.)

Sapience also mentioned during today’s livestream that the epic quest, flooded Isengard, and Entwood would be included as part of the Helm’s Deep expansion purchase, and not as a separate quest pack.

Features such as the improved mail system, inventory display revamp, and upscaled freeps in the Ettenmoors will be available to everyone.

VIPs will get the new “mailbox anywhere” benefit, and can take their upscaled freeps to the ‘Moors for free.

The revisions to the North Downs, Trollshaws, and Misty Mountains are included as part of their respective quest packs (and free to VIPs).

After wrecking two skirmishes on Tier 2 Duo with a Yellow Champ and a Healing Cappy at lvl 54, and then taking on both School and Library at Tham on level with no issue last night… I’m looking forward to the increased difficulty this may bring. 😀
