It appears that Turbine has snuck in a Lootbox Weekend as an addition to the store sales this week. This event is currently running, and should continue until the 17th (this Monday).
Lootbox weekends include an increased rate in lootbox drops of all levels, as well as the sturdy keys which open the boxes.

Snuck in is right! Wish I saw this yesterday or better yet, Friday. On the other hand, does it even matter? I’ve gotten burned on these boxes so many times.
