1000th Post on LOTRO Players!

LOTRO Players has only been around for 5 months and has already hit its 1000th post with this article. Thank you everyone who has supported, contributed and helped out LOTRO Players in any way.  We started with the goal of filling a void in the LOTRO community and creating a hub for the community.  Since then, LOTRO Players has grown beyond our wildest dreams.  We now have thousands of visitors to our site every week and are continuing to grow.

LOTRO Players started out with just two podcasts, LOTRO Academy and Fellowship of the Creeps.  Since then we have grown to house 8 podcasts adding on LOTRO Players News, Beneath Your Feet, An Unexpected Vidcast, Small LOTRO Adventures, Through the Palantir and LOTROCast!

We started out with only a small team including Branick, Spridra, Pineleaf, Myst and Andang and have grown to a team of 30!  Definitely a big thanks to our entire team who work without any reward other than the love for the game.

This year we also hosted the Fellowship Walk and, thanks to LOTRO’s fantastic community, we raised $5902.50 for sick children in hospitals through Child’s Play.

These are only a small list of our accomplishments and don’t even begin to cover the amazing friendships that I would have never been able to form without starting the site.
