Fellowship Walk: Event Guide 19th Oct.

FellowshipWalkBanner

Welcome Everyone,

It is time to Party! This party is entitled: “Trolling with the Trolls”.

Last week was amazing!  We walked all the way to Bilbo’s Old Stone Trolls. This will be our venue for much of the Fellowship Walk event this Saturday the 19th October. Our total funds raised at the time of writing this post is: $3338

I am hopeful that we will raise $4000 by 4.00pm!

Our Goals are:  $4000 We walk to the Ford of Bruinen

                                    $5000 We walk to Rivendell

As this is the final Saturday of the Fellowship Walk I would be very happy to reach the Ford.

Our last walk event is on Thursday the 24th October. This is the date Frodo was carried into Rivendell by Elves.

It would be nice to walk into the Last Homely House on this date also.

The Gathering:

The Fellowship Walk continues on the 19th October at 1.30pm to 4.30pm

We meet at Bilbo’s Stone Trolls for a Big Party!

Come along for good music, trivia and plenty of dancing.

We may even walk a little bit!

If you can’t manage to get there by yourselves then go to Bree and shout loudly in /regional.

I understand that our security team will have folks there to help people get to the event.

I have a handful of summoning horns and I am sure any Captains will oblige us with a little help to get people to the event.

Trollshaws

You May Need:

Yourselves in a party outfit!

Sparklers, Drinkies (although Vendors have drinks to offer the thirsty) and Fireworks!

The Plan:

From

1.30pm: Fiowyn will play for the gathering crowd.

1.55pm: Erikin The Bard: Fields of The Shire

2.00pm: A rather short opening speech by Lilikate.

2.05pm: The Bara Bahau

2.35pm: Trivia Competition

3.00pm: A Rock and A Hard Place

3.15pm: The Hobbiton Philharmonic

4.00pm: We check the total and if we have raised $4000 we will walk to the Ford! (Or more trivia with Lilikate)

4.30pm: End of Event: Lilikate has made a promise to support her very good friend Kiralynn by attending the “Solve a Mystery Role Play Contest”. I would advise you all to support her too! As without Kira and her team we would not have been harassed by any Black Riders! It is noted that Kira also changed her event time as to avoid a clash with our party!

Many thanks Kiralynn and Windy Acres Ranch! Now folks can enjoy both events 🙂

Please be aware that all plans have a habit of going terribly, horribly, and utterly wrong. In this circumstance prepare to follow Lilikate as she improvises!

Keep calm and eat the free pies!

If you have any good screenshots send them to lilikatebuggins@gmail.com I may feature them in my after event article!

  24.  Grey and brown, cold or hot, we are the larger versions of rocks.

Titles:

Turbine so kindly gifted the fellowship walk with title codes to hand out to participating players.

The usual method to claim a code is to email this address: Fellowshipwalk@gmail.com,  send me an anecdote about the Fellowship Walk  you attended. Also you can just write in tell me what a wonderful organiser I am, or send in virtual pie.

You can also send a note through the quick post Lilikate on the Landroval Server giving your anecdote about the walk. Compliments and Pie also accepted!

I would like to extend this offer to players unable to join our LOTRO event:  If you make a donation to Child’s Play, leaving your characters name and server in the comments section I will send you a code through the LOTRO mail system. Minimum donations of $1.00 will be accepted.

I will send you an in-game letter with a code and instructions (In English). I will be less able to assist those German, and French Speakers but I will do my best to help you.

Be sure to donate to Child’s Play through the links provided and remember to write in the comments box your name (or an alts name) and server.

A Final Thought:

A few things I would like to stress, although this is a charity event where we are trying very hard to reach our goal of $5000.  Our LOTRO event is open to all players, we would feel rotten if players stayed away from all our prepared fun just because they are unable to contribute money.  Please join in! and remember LOTRO is a game, lets have fun together! supporting this great cause in whatever way we can.

If you feel you would like to contact a member of LOTROPlayers.com about this event.

Please feel free to email: Lilikatebuggins@gmail.com
