In one of the many frozen caves in Forochel, there is a cavern with the bodies of frozen rangers.
This is one of the saddest things I have yet to see in LOTRO.
These rangers, along with a couple Elves, sought refuge from a storm in this cave after their ship was destroyed by ice.
Too bad they couldn’t overcome the freezing weather of Forochel.

Yes, it’s from Volume 1. This is the cave where you retrieve the other half of Narchuil and Mordrambor reveals his treachery and stuff.

Actually, I believe this is a side-quest deep inside a dwarf-mine. The place that Ethelros is thinking of is in an instance. This is just inside a cave on the landscape.
