Ah, the tail end of the Yule Festival and all the snowballs and goodies that come with it. In this episode I have a look at Turbine’s holiday creation and see how well it fits here in Middle-earth.

As Winter-home is strictly part of the game (not the books) and strictly a holiday locale, I thought I had best investigate before it goes into hibernation next week. It’s a fun zone, doubly lovely for us winter-o-philes, and seems to fit snugly within the confines of Tolkien’s mythos, if only in spirit.
