Beneath Your Feet 03: Bree-town

Ah, Bree. That quiet crossroads of a village. This week I took a stroll through Bree, musing on its sturdy history. Not unlike the other episodes so far, it’s hard to sift through and figure out which information to pack into the tiny amount of allotted time. Click beyond the break to see the rest of this week’s screenshots and some more info on Bree!

I did not speak much about the Hobbits of Bree, but no worries! In the future I will do an episode on Combe, Archet, and Staddle, where more of the Hobbits lived and there will be plenty of time to talk about the various Underhills and so forth.

Old Stone Ruins
Mess Hall of Bree

Beggar’s Alley

That’s just about it! Next episode will be Evendim, so be sure to email me all you’ve got on the great lake. This week’s music:
-Dirty Old Town by Ted Leo [buy]
There Is an Inn, a Merry Old Inn by Tolkien Ensemble [buy]
