    Hi Guys,

Great festival show and happy Lotro-versary to you all. Just wanted to note that you do not have to wait until after the festival to turn in your tokens (tin to calenard) to marks. All the “Keeper of Gifts” located around the land will trade the tokens in for marks (5 to 40 respectively) or the gift boxes Myst listed. If you miss turning in your tokens when the festival ends, then you can visit Tad Leafcutter by the hunting lodge in Bree and convert them to marks.

I gambled on a few gift boxes and was disappointed at the contents, so decided to just convert everything to marks. After a few token lotto wins and normal mob token drops, my marks count has gone up by about 4000 (yes, that is “thousand”). This is a great way to stockpile marks without much effort.

Best regards and may envelopes fly directly into your hands,

    Tomeoric

I opened up several of the top two varieties of festival boxes. I received two worn symbols of celebrimbor and a couple of cracked rhi helvarch sigils. The former are for crafting level 75 second age LIs and the latter is the top tier analog to mithril flakes & gem shards. However, it’s been mostly food, potions, medallions, cosmetics and fireworks recipes.

The only difference between draughts and salves is that the latter can be used on another person if you manually target them and are within close range. They can be helpful in some cases. Might be mildly annoying if you’re a healer, thus targeting other players, and trying to remove your own debuffs with a salve. Depends on how you play I guess.

Only the steeped versions have a price difference and I cannot see why. I cannot come up with a reason for it specifically being that tier and no other.

    Pronunciation note:

“Drought” is the correct spelling of the word that means “a period of low rainfall.”

The word for a drink is “draught” in British spelling, and “draft” in American (a la “draft beer”). It’s pronounced “draft” in either spelling, though.
