LOTRO Academy: 29 – Unprepared

LOTRO Academy
Branick and Krorain have returned, without a topic, to respond to listener feedback. This is more a short update than a full episode, but we hope you enjoy it anyway. Thanks for listening.

  1. Aww, don’t do that to us! I was all /sadface when you said Myst was gone from the show, but /happyface to hear it was only for a bit.

That is quite the awesome event and charity that Steve will be part of – hope he’s got his charity pizza and charity energy drink ready!

Congrats on hitting that magic level on which you can start doing Grand Stairs for Moria set gear, keep those levels a comin’!

  2. Thanks Zyngor. I know it was a cruel joke, but I like to think that the happy reveal of Myst’s abscence being only temporary was better than just a sad announcement that she’ll be gone for a few episodes. As for the charity, I agree that it’s an awesome event and I hope Steve gets a lot of donations. It’ll probably come up in future episodes as well since there’s plenty of time before Oct. 22. 🙂

  3. Yeah, I made a cross-game reference, but it was a dwarf reference and who doesn’t like dwarfs? Elfs, that’s who, and no one likes them anyway. 😉

Having just done this recently on a couple of my characters, I can confirm that Aragorn starts the quest chain that eventually leads you to the Blue Lady. It is however not part of the epic. He sends you around Rivendell & then to Calenglad in Tinnudir who starts a rather lengthy quest chain in and around Tinnudir and Ost Forod. It will eventually lead to a few quests for the Blue Lady, culminating in the 6-person Tomb of Elendil instance, before returning you to Aragorn. Good fun that instance is.

The Blue Lady does make an appearance in the epic quest line, though not for this quest chain, but I won’t spoil where or why.
